Errata
Browse through our collection of errata and rule clarifications. The purpose of Errata is to have the ability tweak/update rules in between patches, without having to announce a mini-patch and update the cards etc. We don't envisage this happening much at all, and once a patch lands, any errata will be removed as they will be included in the patch.

We are separating the rules for Effigy Decay and Round Limit
Effigy Decay
Effigy Decay is an optional rule that helps speed up the end of the game by reducing the base health of the Effigy in the latter stages of the game.
3v3
At the start of the round 5 Communion Phase, after Effigy regeneration: Effigies lose 3 health from their base health. Base health: 13
5v5
At the start of the round 6 Communion Phase, after Effigy regeneration: Effigies lose 3 health from their base health. Base Health: 17
We are splitting out Round Limit and Effigy Decay to two separate rules
Round Limit
We recommend setting a round limit that signals the end of the battle at which point a series of tie breakers are used to determine the winner.
For 3v3 games, the recommendation is a round limit of 5, and for 5v5 games, we recommend a round limit of 6. If both Effigies are still alive at the end of rounds 5 (3v3) or 6 (5v5) please use the tie breakers below.
Tie Breakers
- 1st tie breaker: Number of Souls currently held by each player
- 2nd tie breaker: Current damage inflicted to Effigies.
- 3rd tie breaker: Most levels gained
- 4th tie breaker: The warband currently suffering the least amount of damage (damage missing from their hero’s maximum health at this point in time).
- 5th tie breaker: The player who captured the first Soul of the game.
