Official Rules for Mythic Shrines
If a Shrine is designated as a Mythic Shrine, it generates Fate in the same way as a regular Shrine but also possesses additional rules called Blessings. A Hero that does not meet the requirements to claim a Blessing may still claim the Mythic Shrine’s Fate.
Each Mythic Shrine grants a unique Blessing. The Blessing associated with a Mythic Shrine is determined by the battlefield setup. Depending on the scenario or map design, a Mythic Shrine’s Blessing may remain the same throughout the battle or change as the game progresses.
A Mythic Shrine with a fixed Blessing has its Blessing determined during battlefield setup. The Blessing remains unchanged for the duration of the game.
The Blessing of this Mythic Shrine is determined randomly during battlefield setup. The Blessing remains unchanged until a Hero claims the Shrine’s Blessing.
When a Hero claims a Mythic Shrine’s Bounty, that Hero also claims its Blessing.
Once a Blessing has been claimed, the Mythic Shrine becomes a standard Shrine until the start of the next Communion Phase. At the start of the next Communion Phase, the Mythic Shrine regains a Blessing.
If a Mythic Shrine uses random Blessings, determine the new Blessing randomly each time the Shrine regains a Blessing.
