Demons
Demon Heroes are not native to Mideon. Most are fugitives of the shattered demonic legions, survivors who escaped the brutal hierarchy of their former masters and found refuge in the Between. Drawn by the strength of the god Torin's resistance and sensing a chance to pursue their own agendas beyond the repressive demon hierarchy, they chose to align themselves with the gods’ cause. In Mideon, they fight in service of the gods, alongside Champions of all Tribes, to fortify and expand the Effigy Network — a structure that keeps the demonic invasion at bay. Yet, these demonic refugees are met with suspicion — and not without reason. Their nature leans toward ruthlessness and domination. Though rare, when Demons unite, it is not out of loyalty but opportunism. They seek leverage over their allies, and at times, over the gods themselves. In Mideon, even among allies, a Demon is seldom trusted—and never ignored.

Coalesce Icons placed by friendly Heroes do not expire at the start of their activations. When a friendly Hero uses Demonic Gateway, remove the endpoint Coalesce Icon from play. Enemy Hero models can spend 1AP when adjacent to a Coalesce Icon to remove it from play.
Friendly Heroes can choose one ability from their level-up options they don’t currently have. They gain that ability until the end of this round. If a model gains a level during this round, they may choose to permanently gain the chosen level-up ability. Friendly Heroes can immediately use Demonic Gateway for (0 AP).
